Baptism
Congratulations! Children by their very presence proclaim the gospel of Christ. They call parents and the whole community to selfless love and joy.
It is through baptism, the first sacrament, that our entrance into the Paschal mystery is made most clear. Parents wishing to bring their child (under the age of seven) to the sacrament of baptism should contact Fr. Steve Dublinski, 509-332-5312, to schedule and prepare for the celebration.

Confirmation
Each person has a very personal and unique relationship with God. The Holy Spirit speaks within the context of this personal relationship. As our faith continues to deepen, we understand and see things from new perspectives. We feel even more connected to God and to his plan for us and for the world. Restored orderThe Catholic Diocese of Spokane has restored the sacraments of initiation to their original order. Children in the diocese prepare for and receive the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Eucharist at the same time. Eucharist
The celebration of First Communion marks the beginning of an initiate’s full participation in Christian life. Participation in the Sunday celebration of the Eucharist is a sign of our Catholic faith. To register for preparation please click this link.

Sacramental Preparation
To prepare for First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation, children need to be seven years old before Easter.
Parents or a guardian will prepare children to receive sacraments by going through lessons at home. There will also be six meetings for parents and children to attend together, with pizza provided for lunch. Our first group meeting for fall 2025 will be September 14th from 12:00 PM-1:30 PM.
The parish will provide materials for parents to use at home. Children should also be going to mass with their parents, and attending our Sunday morning Faith Formation or Youth Group.If you have questions about preparing children to receive first Communion, and confirmation, contact Angela Nelson, Director of Faith Formation, or call the church office, 509-332-4402.

Sacraments of Healing
Anointing of the Sick
The ministry of Jesus reached out especially to the sick. He held the sick in the center of his heart and of his community. Your parish community wants to extend the ministry of Christ to you in your time of struggle.
In times of serious illness or hospitalization, contact the parish office (509-332-5312) and Fr. Steve Dublinski will come to your home or hospital room.
Twice a year we celebrate the Sacrament of Anointing the Sick communally during Sunday Mass. You are welcome to join these liturgies.
If you are homebound for any period of time, we would like to send a minister to your home and bring you Holy Communion.

Reconciliation (Penance)
Reconciliation is a beautiful way in which we celebrate God’s forgiving love for each of us and our reconciliation with our community of faith.
The sacrament is offered in the church Saturdays, 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm. You may also make an appointment with Fr. Steve Dublinski to celebrate the sacrament by calling 509-332-5312. Just say you would like an appointment for "spiritual direction."

Sacrament of Marriage
Marriage Preparation
Congratulations on your engagement! The whole Church rejoices with you as you come together to celebrate your love and commitment. You certainly have already begun to prepare for "the big day" with its many details. Your Church community, too, is eager to help you prepare, not only for the wedding, but for the countless years of marriage ahead.
To Begin the Process
Please contact the Parish Office (509-332-5312) at least four months prior to the proposed wedding date to set up a meeting with Fr. Steve Dublinski or Deacon Jim Evermann.
Basic Criteria
Spokane diocesan norms require that at least one of the parties be Roman Catholic and that four months be allowed for preparing for the sacrament of marriage. This entails that your presiding Roman Catholic priest, or deacon, has established your "freedom to marry" prior to a wedding date being confirmed.
If this is a Second Marriage
In the instance of any prior marriages of either party, no date can be set until a Decree of Nullity is attained through the appropriate diocese. Fr. Steve Dublinski (509-332-5312) can answer any questions regarding annulments as well as guide you through the process if necessary.
