Blessing of candles on the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, February 2: When Jesus was brought to the temple Simeon was there, and he took Jesus in his arms and said that Jesus would be a light. The church candles will be blessed by Deacon Jim at 7 AM. You may bring your own candles to the service to be blessed......... Dinners for Eight is a great way to get to know your church family better. This is for all adults—couples, singles, and friends. You go to dinner once a month for four months, in January, February, March, and April, in different homes, with different people. You host once, and take salad or dessert the other months. The social hall is available for hosting. ALL ADULTS are welcome! Deadline to sign up is January 11. Sign-up by clicking the picture, or use the sheet in the church entrance or social hall.

Our Advent Reconciliation and Adoration Service is at 6 pm Thursday, December 19 in the church. Priests from Colfax and Colton will assist Fr. Steve in hearing confessions.

The Christmas pageant is at the 4:30 pm Christmas Eve Mass. If your child would like a speaking part they should come to the first practice. The feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Thursday, December 12, begins at 6:30 AM with singing. That is followed by a children’s play, and a bilingual Mass. After Mass there is a breakfast. Please bring food to share. Also, we need roses for the altar of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We are accepting clean glass jars and bottles in cardboard boxes for recycling November 29 & 30. Put them in the trailer in the church parking lot between 4 pm Saturday and 1 pm Sunday. We also accept screw-on metal lids in a plastic bag. The county uses the glass in road construction.
